Albert Benchimol to join board of newly domiciled Aegon Ltd

Veteran insurance executive Albert Benchimol is to be nominated as a non-executive member of the board of directors at Aegon Ltd, the international financial services holding company that has changed its legal seat to Bermuda.
Aegon said it will propose to its annual meeting to appoint Mr Benchimol to the board for a four-year term.
Between and May this year, Mr Benchimol was president and chief executive of Axis Capital Holdings, the Bermudian-based global specialty underwriter and provider of insurance and reinsurance solutions.
