OKC community college renames film program after the late Oscar winner Gray Frederickson
The red carpet was rolled out one more time for Oklahoma Oscar winner Gray Frederickson.
Oklahoma City Community College celebrated the lasting legacy of the Academy Award-winning producer of "The Godfather" trilogy, "Apocalypse Now" and "The Outsiders" June 20 with a full day of festivities.
The celebration included two screenings of the new documentary "In His Words: The Tales of Gray Frederickson," the renaming of OCCC's digital cinema production department in his honor and the launch of a film scholarship in his memory.
