 IT WAS IN APRIL 1936 THAT THE PROGRESSIVE Writers’ Association was formed in Lucknow. The Golden Jubilee of that organisation was celebrated recently under the president ship of one of its founder members, Mulk Raj Anand, in Lucknow from April 9 to 11.
