Martin Gelinas is a professional Canadian hockey player known for his role as a left winger.
Gelinas biography
He was selected in the 1st round, 7th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1988 NHL Draft.
Moves and Trades
On August 9, 1988, Gelinas was traded to the Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Oilers until June 20, 1993, when he was traded to the Quebec Nordiques.
On January 15, 1994, Gelinas was acquired by the Vancouver Canucks from the waiver draft.
Later Career
On January 3, 1998, Gelinas was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes. As an unrestricted free agent, he signed a contract with the Calgary Flames on July 2, 2002.
Gelinas then joined the Florida Panthers on August 2, 2005, also as an unrestricted free agent.
